Description
The Syngonium podophyllum ‘Milk Confetti’ is a highly sought-after, fast-growing tropical houseplant known for its stunning arrowhead-shaped leaves. It features a milky-green to creamy-white base speckled with distinct pink and blush-toned flecks, earning its confetti-like name.
Key Care Guidelines
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun is fine, but avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves. Too little light will cause the variegation to fade and the leaves to turn solid green.
- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top third to half of the soil feels dry.
- Humidity: Prefers a moderate to high humidity environment (50%–70%). Placing it near a humidifier or in a bright bathroom works wonders.
- Temperature: Keep it comfortable, ideally between 18°C to 27°C (64°F–80°F). Protect it from sudden cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
- Toxicity: Keep out of reach of pets and small children, as this plant is toxic if ingested.
